Spoiler: click to toggle Step 1: click on this icon for setting up the option... Step 2: key in ur name n email(not necessary need to b exactly-hope u get wat i mean) n oso ur nick name... Step 3: Choose ur server... most of the subs group would b using Rizon.net but there r exceptional... Step 4: Select where u wan to save ur file... Step 5: Set wat format r u goi to receive... if the format not mention on the list,u cant receive the file... usually anime came in .avi,.mkv or .mp4 format,so add this 3 format into ur list as well as other format that u would like to add... now connect to the channel... Spoiler: click to toggle Step 1: Click this icon to connect to the server... Step 2: Choose ur channel from the list or insert the channel u wan to visit... Step 3: The channel u select will pop out... now to get the file... Spoiler: click to toggle Step 1: Type !list* in the channel for the list of bot... Step 2: This is the list here... pay attention here... the r 3 different type as seen n numbered in the pic... 1st: This 1 is much much more complicated so i will only add in if u really need it... 2nd n 3rd: A. Open up the link... for those command given as in number 3,when u enter the command into the channel,it sometime will give a link just like number 2 or it might directly list out the files list... B. For those link,this would how the list look like... click on the file u wan to get n that window will pop up will the command... PS: some website have different way of listing... for example,this 1... http://eclipse.no-sekai.de/xdcc C. Paste the command u have copy into the channel... D. Click accept to accept the file u have requested... ENJOY UR DL! PS: to mod,i purposely open this thread here since i believe more otaku will need guide to use IRC to get anime rather than in technical support... btw,pin it as well... Marin Posts: 228 Group: Members Member #116 Joined: 25 August 2008	You can start with @find <keyword> if that channel support that command.Some channels doesn't like the command and will ban anyone that uses it. Other way is by identifying the bot itself.Most bots as said by Val,usually is a half OP,with % sign at the front of the name.It will look something like % <botname>,and most channels i knew will assign % on their bots,to make them distinguishable from others (Half OP position is located between +v and +o,meaning that it has the power to voice but can't do anything more beyond +o level,which is suitable for bot). The other way is to look by the name.Most channel will rename their bot using the following pattern GroupName\|bot name [GroupName]bot name Or any weird name for example ; Eclipse\|Sakuya [Aniyoshi]Kaze INB4RAEP Howard_Mason You'll know it when you reach there.However channel like #gg usually don't follow such pattern,but their bots are marked with %. If you have prob Hatori,come to our channel during active times,and we will help you.
