Title: Haré+Guu (ジャングルはいつもハレのちグゥ, Janguru wa Itsumo Hare nochi Gūu; lit. The Jungle Was Always Nice, Then Came Guu) No. of epi: 26 TV episodes; followed by two OVA sequels: Haré+Guu DELUXE and Haré+Guu FINAL. Year: 3 April 2001 – 25 September 2001 Genre: Comedy Synopsis:
Quote:
The surreal, comical and occasionally serious series focuses on the story of a 10 year-old jungle boy named Haré and his misadventures with Guu, a liminal being who usually presents herself as a young girl.
It opens with a young pregnant Weda leaving her home in the city... only to flash forward to the present where Hare starts off playing a Phantasy Star knockoff, and is a typical boy living in the jungle with his lazy mother who has him go fetch bananas for her. On his way back from his errand, a dark large being overtakes him. Scared, he runs back to the house where his mom's decided to have a new guest live out the house, a cute normal girl named Guu.
The next morning, Hare wakes up to find Guu a completely different person who's no longer cute, social, or energetic. No one seems to notice the change. Guu mostly remains quiet and ignorant of things while Hare has to show her around and explain things to her, and Hare notices Guu likes to eat things. She ends up swallowing Hare where instead of resulting in death, he's taking to a whole other world existing in Guu's stomach where he meets Seiichi and Tomoyo, a couple who has accepted their fate in Guu's stomach. After Guu spits Hare back into the real world, she accompanies Hare to school where she meets all of Hare's schoolmates (who she swallows and spits back out) and the village elder (whose chest-hair she rips out). Mostly meant to establish Guu, and from there-on, the adventure begins.

Jun Sakurada is a Junior High School student who refuses to go to school after being traumatized by an embarrassing experience there. He has taken to locking himself in his room, never leaving the house, and spends the day ordering supernatural goods online and returning them before the date in which he has to pay. His older sister, Nori Sakurada, does everything she can to brighten Jun's dreary existence, but is unable to change his situation.
One day, Jun receives a letter claiming he has won a prize. The letter asks whether he will "wind" (まきますか? makimasu ka?) or "not wind" (まきませんか? makimasen ka?). It states that after he has made his decision, he must place the letter in the drawer of his desk, and a supernatural liaison will take it to the spirit world. Despite his skepticism, he follows these instructions, and discovers soon after that the envelope has vanished. Moments later, he realizes that a richly detailed wood case has materialized within his room. The box contains a strange realistic doll dressed in French aristocratic (synonymous with Gothic Lolita) attire. Jun carefully winds up the doll. The doll creaks, stands up on its own, then proceeds to slap him for handling her as crudely as he had. She introduces herself as, "...Shinku, the fifth doll of the Rozen Maiden."
Shinku is a doll from the unique "Rozen Maiden" collection, and before Jun can fully comprehend the weight of his new situation, a stuffed clown plush doll attacks. Shinku promises that she will save Jun's life, but only if he will vow to serve her. Thus, Jun becomes entrusted with the responsibility of protecting Shinku's "Rosa Mystica" whilst she is engaged in a centuries old fight with the other Rozen Maiden dolls for the title of "Alice."
although the anime most of them is filler, but i like the way the composers do the filler, it is almost perfect unlike bleach and naruto, bt currently rozen maiden has no clear ending as the manga had nt ended yet, i giv it a 10/10 points for the making of the almost perfect filler especialy during season 2

Rebel elements persist, however, as pockets of Japanese organizations struggle against the Empire for the independence of Japan.

Seven years later, he accidentally becomes mixed up with "terrorists" in Area 11 and encounters a mysterious girl named C.C., who gives him the power of Geass. With it, he finally has the power that he needs to defeat Britannia and fulfill his two wishes: to seek revenge for his mother and to construct a world in which his beloved sister can live happily.

This is a list of episodes of the two Japanese anime television series adaptations of the two-part adult visual novel series Ef: A Fairy Tale of the Two. by the Japanese software company Minori. The first anime adapts the whole first game Ef: The First Tale., and the first half of the second game Ef: The Latter Tale.. The second anime adapts the second half of the second game.
The first anime adaptation entitled Ef: A Tale of Memories. is directed by Shin Ōnuma who volunteered for the job when it was offered, and is produced by the Japanese animation studio Shaft. The story follows three protagonists and their interactions with the girls they meet and gradually fall in love with. A short prologue DVD for Ef: A Tale of Memories. was released on August 24, 2007. The prologue is more of a teaser which introduces the characters and some conflict that appears in the first anime series. Ef: A Tale of Memories. aired between October 7, 2007 and December 22, 2007 on the Chiba TV Japanese television network, and was later aired on subsequent networks such as, including but not limited to, TV Kanagawa, TV Saitama, and Sun TV; there are twelve episodes. Each episode ends with a still image drawn by Japanese illustrators of anime, manga, and visual novels; these are listed below as endcards. The episode titles are originally written in English and as such there are no Japanese language equivalents. The first letter in each episode's title, plus the "coda" title of the last episode, can be brought together to form "Euphoric Field". The series was released in six limited and regular edition DVD compilations, each containing two episodes. The first DVD volume was released on December 7, 2007, and the sixth DVD was released on May 9, 2008.
The second anime adaptation entitled Ef: A Tale of Melodies. is produced by the same staff as with the first series, and contains the same cast of voice actors. Ef: A Tale of Melodies began airing in Japan on October 7, 2008 on TV Kanagawa. Very much like the first season, the first letter in each episode's title reveals a hidden meaning. The first six episodes spell out the word "future" backwards with the following six episodes having the prefix "re-" attached to five of the first six episode titles, but introduced in reverse. For example, episode six is entitled "flection" and episode seven is titled "reflection". For episode twelve, the title is "forever".
Ef: A Tale of Memories. uses four pieces of theme music for the episodes, one opening theme and three ending themes. The opening theme, starting with episode three, is the English version of "Euphoric Field" by Tenmon featuring Elisa. The first episode uses a background music track for the opening theme, and the second and tenth episodes have no opening theme; "Euphoric Field" was also used for the ending theme in episode two. The Japanese version is used as the opening theme for the twelfth episode. The first ending theme is "I'm here" by Hiroko Taguchi which is used for episodes one, three, seven, and ten. The second ending theme, "Kizamu Kisetsu" (刻む季節, Carving Season?) by Junko Okada, is used for episodes four, five, and nine. The third ending theme, "Sora no Yume" (空の夢, Sky's Dream?) by Natsumi Yanase, is used for episode six, eight, and eleven, though the second verse of the song was used in that episode. A remix of the visual novel's theme song called "Yūkyū no Tsubasa" 07.mix (悠久の翼 07.mix, Eternal Feather 07.mix?) sung by Yumiko Nakajima is used as the ending theme in episode twelve.
The opening theme of Ef: A Tale of Melodies. is the English version of "Ebullient Future", also by Tenmon featuring Elisa, with the sixth episode featuring the instrumental version. The first ending theme is called "Egao no Chikara" (笑顔のチカラ, Strength of Smiles?) by Mai Goto while the second is called "Negai no Kakera" (願いのカケラ, Pieces of Wish?) by Yumiko Nakajima. A new version of the opening sequence of the first season was inserted in the middle of episode eleven. The song "A moon filled sky." was featured right after the ending of the same episode with the German translated lyrics that had been shown throughout the whole series with each of the words' own numberings.

On Sunday, Kei gets hurt at the basketball match and Hirono stands up Miyako on a date they were supposed to go on to make sure Kei is all right. A string of unexplained murders have plagued the town for the past three years during the annual Watanagashi Festival in June, and with the next Watanagashi approaching, things start to take a turn for the worse. The series is divided into six chapters, which are the first six chapters in the original visual novel series. First is Onikakushi-hen between episodes one and four, followed by Watanagashi-hen between episodes five and eight, and Tatarigoroshi-hen between episodes nine and thirteen, making the series half over. Next is Himatsubushi-hen between episodes fourteen and fifteen, making it the smallest of the story arcs. The last two chapters are Meakashi-hen, between episodes sixteen and twenty-one, and finally Tsumihoroboshi-hen, between episodes twenty-two and twenty-six.
In 2007, the second season, entitled Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai (ひぐらしのなく頃に解?), was produced by the same team as with the first season, containing twenty-four episodes. The series aired in Japan between July 6 and December 17 on several Japanese television networks, such as Sun TV, TV Kanagawa, and TV Saitama. The story is similar to the first season, but what was left unexplained in the first season is explained over the course of three separate story arcs. The first is an anime-original arc called Yakusamashi-hen, which is followed by the last two arcs from the original visual novel series: Minagoroshi-hen and Matsuribayashi-hen. On September 18, 2007, a sixteen-year-old girl killed her father with an axe in Kyoto, Japan. The remote similarities between Kai and the incident were too strong. In response, Tokai TV replaced episode twelve on September 21, 2007 with a cooking show.
