Book Of Techniques III - Chaining ====== Chaining ====== most magic got an after cast delay, meaning u cant use another skill during the period exception to this is Jupiter Thunder(JT), and Water Ball(WB) almost all active skills got animation delay, some r short, some r long for example: - short animation delay cast JT > finish casting > "throw" the electric ball out [animation delay] > process finish - long animation delay cast WB > finish casting > "throw" 25 water balls out [animation delay] > process finish during the animation delay, normally u cannot cast other skills as well to use non-self-target magic, we need to press the hot key, then click on the target, then u'll only start casting skills that can chain r JT n WB which has no after cast delay to chain JT: cast JT, while casting, press ur JT hot key again, n click on ur target when ur casting bar is about 75% full then after u "throw" out ur 1st electric ball, u'll immediately start casting ur 2nd JT while casting ur 2nd JT, u can repeat the process n chain ur 3rd JT JT is ezier to chain, bcz its animation delay is short to chain WB: the concept is the same, press ur WB hot key n click on ur target when ur 1st WB casting bar is about 75% full, then u'll c u start casting ur 2nd WB while u r still atking ur target with water balls chaining 2 WB is ez, but to chain more than 2 WB, its quite hard, bcz WB's animation delay is quite long (need to "throw" 25 water balls) as ur dex gets higher, it'll b harder to chain, bcz the higher ur dex, the faster u cast, thus harder to get the timing to input the command for ur 2nd cast live example:  Other Chapters: Book Of Techniques I - Movement Book Of Techniques II - Fire Wall Book Of Techniques III - Chaining Book Of Techniques IV - Ice Wall Book of Advanced Techniques I - Cross Fire Book of Advanced Techniques II - Fire Storm Book of Advanced Techniques III - Delay Overwrite Book of Advanced Techniques IV - Sandwich Edited by Noir Ange, 27 Aug 2008, 01:51 PM.
