Book Of Techniques I - Movement ================= Movement of Monsters ================= Before we start talking about the use of skills, we need to know 1 of the basics – The movement of monsters How exactly do the monsters move? Once the monster spots and targets you, it'll choose the shortest to approach you below is a diagram of how a monster move towards you  the circle[⊕] is where you are standing the triangle[△] and diamond[◆] is where the monster will attack you the arrows are the directions the monster moves if a monster spots you, it'll move according to the arrows and stop at either the triangle[△] or diamond[◆] to attack you what if you move while the monster is chasing you? lets say you are standing at spot A, then a monster spots you and start walking towards you to attack while the monster is moving, you move to spot B the monster will still first move to spot A, then recalculate its route and walk to spot B now that basically concludes how the monsters move, dun think this is not important, by knowing how the monsters move, this alone developed a vast amount of other techniques that a wizard can use side note - benefits to other classes: + trap hunters: you'll know where to place your trap + support priests: you'll know how to move if you are attacked/targeted by a monster + lurer/tankers: you'll know how to gather mobs properly -------------------- Other chapters: Book Of Techniques I - Movement Book Of Techniques II - Fire Wall Book Of Techniques III - Chaining Book Of Techniques IV - Ice Wall Book of Advanced Techniques I - Cross Fire Book of Advanced Techniques II - Fire Storm Book of Advanced Techniques III - Delay Overwrite Book of Advanced Techniques IV - Sandwich Edited by Noir Ange, 27 Aug 2008, 01:52 PM.
