Common Patch

- The quest "Onward to a new world" has its level limit set to 70.
- The "Continued Research" and "Nostalgia" quests have their rewards changed.

- Corrected an issue with success rates of Create Elemental Converter when used by a Sorcerer.
- The Mastersmith skill "Cart Boost" can no longer be used in the Turbo Track.

Main Servers


- The update event's bonus drop rate has ended.
- Some monster's level, attack, and experience have been updated: Marionette, Deviruchi, Heater, Assaulter, Sting, Anubis, Majororus, Arclouse, Ancient Mummy.

Sakray Test Server

- Up to 10 message windows can now be opened, with each message window being configurable.

- While viewing the world map, you can now use the alt key to show field names, and tab key to show the monster spawn map.

- On the party and friends window, added a Function Lock button (appears like a padlock). While Function Lock is enabled, double clicking (1:1 chat window) and right clicking (popup menu) is disabled on the friend/party window.

- You can now use the F12 key to show/hide on the skill shortcut window. It is now arranged Row 1 -> Row 2 -> Row 3 -> Row 4 -> Hidden -> Row 1 -> etc.

- While using Enchant Deadly Poison, the following skills have their attack power and SP cost changed.

Windmill Rush Assault

- Increased SP cost.
- Changed the area of effect.
- The skill effect is influenced by the casters skill level of lessons and JOB level.
- The duration is changed to 60 seconds.

Echo Song

- Increased SP cost.
- Changed the area of effect.
- The skill effect is influenced by the casters skill level of lessons and JOB level.
- The duration is changed to 60 seconds.

Harmonize

- Corrected the skill effect.
- The duration is changed to 60 seconds.

Metallic Sound

- Increased SP cost.
- Changed the casting time and cooldown.
- Decreased the SP drain of the skill.
- Changed it so that Metallic Sound no longer causes chaos status.

Reverberation

- Increased SP cost.
- Changed the casting time.
- Corrected the damage formula.
- Corrected the damage type to be considered long ranged instead of short ranged.

Severe Rainstorm

- Increased SP cost.
- Changed the casting time.
- Updated the damage formula.
- Corrected the damage type to be considered long ranged instead of short ranged.

Voice of Siren

- Increased SP cost.
- Changed the cooldown time to 5 seconds.
- Changed the area of effect.
- Adjusted the probability of success.

Valley of Death

- When reviving a player with this skill, the SP drain is 1/2. For example, if you revive a player with level 1, the target loses 50% of their SP.

Deep Sleep Lullaby

- Increased SP cost.
- Adjusted the cast time and cooldown time.
- The probability of success is based on the casters learned level of lessons and base level.
- While in sleep, targets recover 3% of their HP/SP every 2 seconds.
- The duration of the skill is now 10 + (skill level * 2) seconds. However, the duration is reduced by the targets current base and job level.

Circle of Nature

- Changed the area of effect.
- Updated the SP consumption and HP recovery.
- The duration is changed to 60 seconds.

Gloomy Day

- Updated the skills benefiting from the skill.
- The attack power bonus for influenced skills is increased.

Great Echo

- Damage formula is updated.
- The bonus damage for additional wanderers/minstrels in party is changed.

Song of Mana

- Increased SP cost.
- Changed the area of effect.
- SP recovery changed to 10sp every 5 seconds.
- The bonus SP recovery for additional wanderers/minstrels in party is changed.

Dance with a Wolf

- Changed the area of effect.
- Updated the bonus fixed cast time decrease and attack speed bonus you get from additional wanderers/minstrels in party.

Saturday Night Fever

- Casting Time is changed.
- Changed the area of effect.
- While in [Frenzy] changed the HP/SP loss.
- The [Frenzy] effect "Cannot use skill or items" is updated to remove the "cannot use skills" portion.
- When [Frenzy] ends, the forced sitting time is decreased from 10 seconds to 3 seconds.
- The probability of getting the [Frenzy] status is updated.

Lerad's Dew

- The Max HP increase given from the skill is changed from a % increase to a fixed increase.
- The number of wanderers/minstrels in party increases the HP gained.

You can do all kinds of crazy things with the tab interface now, including showing damage dealt, experience gained, etc.

mmm..it's actually a buff when compared to how it was in renewal..

before renewal: damage x4

in renewal (before this patch): skill damage modifier (% of damage) + 400%

in renewal (after this patch): (skill damage modifier x 50%) x 300%

so for example:
sonic blow (damage modifier is 800%)
before renewal: 800% x 4 = 3200%
in renewal (before this patch): 800% + 400% = 1200%
in renewal (after this patch): 400% x 3 = 1200%
so sonic blow is not buffed/nerfed by this change after renewal

cross impact (damage modifier is 1400%)
in renewal (before this patch): 1400% + 400% = 1800%
in renewal (after this patch): 700% x 3 = 2100%
so cross impact is not is slightly buffed by this change.

and if work out the same for the few skill listed,the rest of the skill damage were not changed at all (just like sonic blow),so in fact this is a small buff for GX as it keeps most of the strong skill damage unchanged (or just minor buff),while improving the damage of other skills by changing addition effect of edp to multiplication effect.

p/s: note that though it seems like edp is nerfed alot from pre-renewal to post-renewal,it is in fact not entirely true since the damage calculation formula has changed. damage reduction gears works additively just like the damage modifiers,which is a huge nerf compared to pre-renewal.

eg: thara(30% reduction fr human) + feather beret(10% reduction from human) + combat knife (10% reduction from human)
this gives a total of 50% reduction from human race,and this 50% is deducted from the total damage (after all modifier). lets say total damage modifier is 1200% (sonic blow) then with these equipments,damage you take will be 1200% - 50% = 1150% (compared to pre-renewal, eg: sonic blow: 3200% x 50% = 1600% damage taken)

and this is not entirely imbalanced too since i guess new def/atk formula and stuffs will definitely balanced up these changes.

mmm...can't say damage is lower.

if you are refering to before renewal vs after renewal,then yes, edp sonic blow damage modifier is lower (1200% dmg) compared to before renewal (3200% dmg). damage is determined by target's def as well... so they should be almost the same in the end due to def formula change..

if you refer to renewal before this patch vs after this patch,then no.. edp sonic blow damage is still the same 1200%,but cross impact damage is boosted a little after this patch 1800% -> 2100% damage
